What to Expect and Bring for your trip

What We Provide

R

Summer Open Water Boat Fishing

We provide everything you will need to catch fish. All of our rods and reels are the best gear for the situation. In the boat you will have a helix 8 mega di/si g3n in the dash. At the front we will run a helix 7 mega di g3n. Our rods are currently fenwick hmg’s with Pflueger president reels. The trolling motor is a 60inch 80 pound thrust terrova with I pilot. The boat itself is a 2018 175 alumacraft voyageur sport.

R

Winter Ice Fishing

In the winter our huts change fairly rapidly and we assure you they are always in top notch shape. We also run Pflueger president reels with all sorts of different rods for different lures. The fish finders we run are helix 5’s from humminbird. We are soon  upgrading to helix 7s and potentially looking to add panoptix into the mix. Each new season we invest in equipment to provide a successful trip for our guests!

Winter Ice Fishing

We provide all of the tools you will need! The list below are some things to keep in mind as we will be in some cold weather on the trip in and out.

If you have a helmet legal to use on a snowmobile (full face recommended highly!) you are more then welcome to bring it. if not we will provide you with one.

  • Dress warm and appropriate for the weather! Even though you will be inside a warm hut for the majority of the day the ride out can be a cold experience if not dressed properly. Running shoes will not keep you warm on a trip like this. Winter snow boots or winter hiking boots would be ideal.
  • Bring a lunch. Please avoid bringing anything in a can as we have had them break in the past.
  • Fishing License.
